OSHA Anti-Retaliation Rule & Ovetime Rule

Both “rules” are set to start on December 1, 2016 and it is my belief that no additional extensions will be granted, however, I could be wrong so, as your trusted HR Director, I am continuing to watch.

Here is the latest on the new OSHA Anti-Retaliation rule and the new Overtime Rule:

The new OSHA rule can be satisfied by posting the already-required OSHA workplace poster. If you don’t have one or need a new one, you can get it by clicking here.

The Overtime Rule will eventually trigger new Fact Sheets to be published by the Department of Labor but they are not ready yet. We will continue to monitor their process and provide further information when it is available.
